Dotfuscator

Dotfuscator is a brand of application protection and analytics software created and marketed by the software company PreEmptive Solutions. It was introduced in 2002 around the release of the first version of Microsoft's NET development framework; a compact (or "lite") version of Dotfuscator has been bundled with Microsoft Visual Studio since Visual Studio 2003. Popularly known as an obfuscation tool for software applications written for the .NET framework, in recent years Dotfuscator has evolved to include advanced software protection capabilities, packaging, tamper-resistance and reporting, as well as support for Runtime Intelligence, an application instrumentation and analytics solution.
